R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS latest kernel V1.80b download and set up guide
R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS is the latest product from R4i-sdhc.com, the upgrade version of R4i-SDHC 3DS RTS which support 3DS V8.1.0-19E/U/J,2DS V8.1.0-19E/U/J,DSi V1.4.5,DS and DS Lite! Their own kernels are used and always updated timely to support the latest firmware.
2.Un-zip the download kernel to be a folder
3.Open the kernel folder,copy files.
4.Paste the files copied into the Root directory of the microsd card.
5.Put Games in microsd card.
6.Insert the microsd card into R4i SDHC 3DS RTS. Then inert the R4i 3DS card into consoles.

1.Before start setting up, please format your microsd card into FAT32 format.(How to reformat microsd card?)

Why my 3DS did not recognized the R4i 3DS card?
Some R4i 3DS card users may meet a problem, they installed the software correctly but when insert the R4i 3DS card into 3DS, there is no any game icon appears and can be clicked. By double checking, the software and ROMs have no any problem. This problem happens maybe one of below reasons:
1.The gold finger field of the flashcard is dirty to cause the bad connection between the R4 3DS card and 3DS console
2.The R4i 3DS was broken by incorrect operation
3.The TF card golden filed is dirty or broken
Normally if the flashcard is under correct operation, it should not be broken. So you can pull the TF memory card out from R4i 3DS card, then just inert the R4 flashcard into Solt-1 of 3DS, restart the 3DS, if there is still no game icon appears, please try to clean the golden finger field of your flashcard, the problem mostly will be solved.
As for the moist air or the accumulation of dust in the air, long time exposed in the air, the problem that the oxidation or the dust accumulation of the golden connection part may occur, it will cause the bad connection and there will be no card can be found when start consoles.
How to clean the R4 golden finger field?
Please prepare a soft clean fabric or you can clean your finger at first, rub the golden finger field, it may need do to twice or three times, and then try it again, the connection will be fine.

Can 3DS flashcard be used to Play 3DS Roms for free with 2DS?
2DS is a new device with the compatible
system with 3DS and DS.It can be used to play both 3DS and DS roms without 3DS
effect. Per our previous articles, there are kinds of R4 3DS flashcard can be
used for 2DS to play DS games. As the new real 3DS flashcard were developed and
start selling on the market, more and more users want to know, if they allowed
to play 3DS Roms in 2DS?
Gateway 3DS,3SDLink,R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe Edition all come with 2 cards, one for 3DS and another starter for DS, the DS card just exactly as a normal R4i 3DS flashcard for playing DS games, the 3DS card is used to play 3DS ROMs, but all of them have a very important limitation, they just support 3DS V4.1.0 to V4.5.0 version for 3DS Roms.It means any 3DS version lower than V4.1.0 or higher than V4.5.0 will not be allowed to play 3DS Roms with these flashcards now.
2DS was developed base on 3DS V6.0.0 system so it is much higher than V4.5.0 firmware, it will block all above real 3DS flashcards.

"An erro has occurred..." when set up Gateway 3DS?
Some users met a problem when setting up Gateway 3DS, when they try to setting up, there appears a message" An error has occurred,forcing the software to close.The system will now restart.(Unsaved date maybe lost).", why does this message appears? What's wrong?
It just because users make a confusion for SD card and micro sd card. The microsd card is used for set up with the blue card and also will be used for keeping roms, but when you doing the system setting, it needs a SD card. The SD card is in the right side of your 3DS. Just pull it out, copy "Launcher.dat" file into SD card, then inert the SD card into 3DS to start system setting. Please do not use microsd card to do this step.
